This week, we focus our bible study and learning on "Diligence". It is part of a character building of a christian virtue. We explained to Kai what being diligent meant and why we should be diligent.
Today, I told Kai a story about Fan Li, an official in the State of Yue in China. And through diligence and hardwork, Fan Li and his family were able to provide for themselves as well as the poor.
And our memory verse for the week is, Proverbs 12:24, "The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute."
