Our body parts...

We have been discussing about our body parts and learning about them. Kai knows all of them when he was about 2 years old and we did an exercise on naming all the body parts where he matched the words to the parts. And he could match all of them correctly so I challenge him to master all the spelling of the words.

Kai emjoys songs, so we sang the song "Head and Shoulder, Knee and Toe" while learning about these words. And we sang alot more songs. (Lyrics of songs)

Kai was happy to learn and master the words for Spelling.

Check out Our Spelling List 1

Here's our list

1. Hair
2. Face
3. Eye
4. Eyebrow
5. Ear
6. Nose
7. Nostril
8. Mouth
9. Neck
10 Shoulder

We also formed sentences with all these words. I gave Kai a worksheet where he filled in the blanks for each sentences using the words on the spelling list to answer.

These are sentences formed by Kai,

1. My friend, Alex, has blond hair.

2. My face is round.

3. Everyone of us has a pair of eyes.

4. Daddy has thick eyebrows.

5. Rabbits have long ears.

6. Mucus is running out of my nostrils.

7. The hippopotamus can open its mouth very big.

9. The baby is so chubby that I cannot see her neck.

10. Darren has board shoulders.

I am planning to do a close passage where Kai can use the list to fill in the blanks for the passage.
