Long Vowel Sounds...

We are moving into long vowel sound this week and taking our time to learn. We hope to be able to achieve all the sound by year-end and start with word blending and getting Kai ready to read as much as he wants to so that we can have a family time of reading together and complete silence in the house.

Daddy and I hope to be able to apply "DEAR" into our schedule. And that we will have a great time exploring books.

DEAR simply stands for "Drop Everything And Read".

So here we are looking at the long vowel sound starting from A a.

And Kai requested to read through Peter and Jane Book 3A again, we talked about the pictures
and discussed about things Kai enjoys doing.

After that, he went ahead to fix his new toys (Meccano), he had fun playing his new toys and spent his time thing and creating new design for his models and pretended to be the police officer and after that getting his Lego out and his other vehicles and role-playing.
